Rooms were basic but ok. We upgraded to room with balcony and sea view. Breakfast was not massive but a good selection available so did not go hungry. Did not try evening meals but many did and never heard any complaints. Entertainment most nights, it was ok. Magician good and Cornish bingo was brilliant.Fiona is a brilliant hostess she really enjoys her job and works very hard, nothing was too much trouble. Would stay again no problem.
Beds were very hard but surprisingly we slept well.Floorboards were very creaky. Doors slammed a lot due to springs ( fire doors ) Rooms were quite hot. Not all rooms had showers some only had baths.

Relaxing atmosphere. Owner extremely helpful and friendly. Near resort/beach but far enough away from noise.

Good location, friendly staff
Hard pillows and bed, bedding and general decor were a little dated, breakfast was unimpressive.

From the time we were greeted in recpetion - to the time we booked out - you were made very welcome throughout and they could not do enough for you. the family room was spacous for the 4 of us and the room was sited just beside the swimming pool (and the photo on their website does not do it justise). Whilst it was very busy - it was clear to see that certain people from all of the UK had stayed there previously and had returned on a yearly basis to enjoy a nice family break beside the sea. The hotel location is key as well, as it is within 5 minutes of walking into the main street of Newquay / sea front. There was entertainment on both of the nights we stayed and the food was of a high standard. I would certianly recommend this hotel to any family who are thinking of staying in Newquay for a week and you certainly got value for money. A Big Thanks To Everybody for such an enjoyable stay. we'll be back to see you soon

The Hotel was within five minutes walk to the sea and city centre. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Free parking was an advantage.
The room did not have a shower only a bath. Also free Wifi was available but could not get in our room. Had to go to reception to get connected.

Good clean pleasant hotel, with convenient rooms and good service.Pleasant staff who were very helpfull. Plenty of onsite parking and a location close to amenities , but quiet enough at night to be restfull. Family orientated , so no distractions from groups.
banging my head on the toothbrush holder placed just above the centre of the sink, please move it to the side,Ta.

Had an awesome stay! The heated outdoor pool was a huge hit for relaxation. Breakfast was superb with fresh local ingredients. Just a wee bit of hassle with the low shower pressure. 😊

Very friendly place, well run by lovely staff who made us very welcome. Well maintained.
Our room (16 I think?) didn't actually have a shower - just an old fashioned bath. This was ok for one night but probably would have been a little frustrating. Otherwise a nice room though.

Breakfast - friendly staff
The room especially the shower! Pool - you had to walk out into the car park to get to it and it was extremely cold even though it claimed to be heated. Games room - very dark and dingy.

Great hotel experience overall. The outdoor heated pool was a big hit. The games room kept us entertained. Shower pressure really low, a bit disappointing.

Great staff. Greeted by Fiona with a genuinly warm smile. Staff took the time to stop and talk, even when they'd finished work. I have mobility issues and they accomodated me very well. Lovely, warm and very comfortable room with sea and cliff views. Great location. Easy to get to town and surrounding areas ie. Padstow, Bodmin etc. Priory Lodge felt like a home from home. Thank you all for a great stay!
Loved everyting and will be going back
